This week I was given the opportunity to work on a branding project with Cafe Adella Dori. This has been a LEAP out of my comfort zone, but it was something I thoroughly enjoyed. In fact, I'm planning to fill my winter calendar with more projects just like this one!
But I want to take a minute to talk about Cafe Adella Dori, in case you're not familiar with it. I feel like they've struck a balance that seems rare these days. Adella Dori buys their ingredients locally, and ensures they are organic, seasonal and ethically sourced. They take the utmost care to provide a unique dining experience with thoughtful and outside the box food and drink, that is not just wholesome and yummy, but really beneficial for our community. I'm serious people, this food is not just local/organic/etc, but it's REALLY good.

Oh, and their coffee? Just stop by and get a cup. Not to go either. Sit down, take in the ambience, enjoy the masterful playlist coming through their speakers and just relax. That's the one commonality I noticed between all of the patrons that I've seen come in and out of this cafe in all the time I've been working on this project; They are relaxed. And the baristas and owners seem to know everybody by name. I'm not surprised though. Every Sunday, they bring coffee down to the farmers at the Callicoon Farmers' Market, and stop and chat with them, and take their breakfast orders so they don't have to leave their post. They also buy meats, cheeses and produce there too. This just seems to be how this business runs itself, completely interwoven into their community.
So take a minute, check out the beautiful food, beverages and people associated with Cafe Adella Dori, and then carve an hour or two out of your schedule to head over to Callicoon, New York and grab something delicious.
This is a greaat post thanks
