Big Announcements!

The past week has been a little crazy!

I had the last sessions in my Pearl Street studio, an amazing Fresh 48 at Catskill Regional Medical Center / CRMC, and I cosigned a lease for a NEW studio on North Main in Liberty.

I have to back track and say that a year ago, I wasn't even interested in a studio space, it wasn't something on my radar at all. It wasn't until the end of the summer that I was inspired by an idea for a bright, airy, all white studio where I could shoot lifestyle images, but in a controlled environment. I had a foggy memory of seeing a room for rent back in 2016 that Maria Bivins had shared. I didn't know where the room was, or even who the landlord was or the rent, but the idea popped into my head, and I knew it couldn't hurt to ask. It turned out to be the perfect space for my first studio, and experiment with this vision I had. I can't thank Van Morrowenough for that opportunity. 8 Pearl Street provided an amazing starting point for my studio work, and I will miss it and its boundless charm.

But onto new beginnings. I knew that if studio work was for me, I would eventually need a bigger space. When I walked into 323 North Main for the first time, seeing that it had lots of old charm, and was painted completely white, I knew right away this would be the perfect next step.

I am so excited to get in there and see what it has to offer.

On that note, here are some favorites from my very last Sitter Session from Pearl Street.

Caitlynn and Brandon were the subjects of one of my first Fresh 48s of 2017, and I could not wait to get baby Maverick back in front of my lens for his sitter session. Let me tell you, I'm a mom of a 3.5 year old, and an almost 2 year old, so "Baby Fever" is not something that I'm typically susceptible to, but when I picked up the squishiest little boy in the world, I could have melted. Mav was just happy to be, and couldn't stop smiling, giggling and showing off those rolls.

These sessions will never get old!
